About Dave

Dave Hersher is the founder and principal consultant of Hersher Consulting LLC. With over 25 years of experience in consumer-facing industries, Dave has built a reputation for solving complex business problems and guiding teams through meaningful change.

As a seasoned executive in operations and project management, he brings strategic insight, practical tools, and a collaborative spirit to every engagement.

Community Roots

Dave lives in Massillon, Ohio with his wife Liz, their daughter, and three poodle mixes. They also have two adult sons and are deeply involved in their local community.

He currently serves on the board of trustees for the Massillon Public Library and mentors high school students through the Legacy Project of Stark. His past civic leadership includes:

  • Elected at-large member of Massillon City Council

  • Mayoral appointee to the city’s Planning Commission

  • Treasurer for Aunt Susie’s Cancer Wellness Center for Women
